SlickFlick is a new platform for making, reading and sharing photographic storyboards on the go. The intuitive interface allows users to ‘flick’ through storyboards, look books, photonovels, portfolios - just about anything you can think of - in a simple and convenient way. The easy to pick-up and put-down nature of the app makes SlickFlick the perfect commuting companion, presentation partner or break buddy.Ms. Constantinescu explains that she had an intuition about a new medium of entertainment-content that lead her to develop the app. As an IP lawyer practicing in London, educated in New York and a native of Romania, she brings a lot of drive and vision to the new startup. Her experiences as an intellectual property lawyer working in the entertainment industry revealed the Slick Flick epiphany. She claims no body understood her vision and in 2010 decided to realize the product. The overarching vision is to create an exciting medium that may become an end in itself. Constantinescu explains the startup is a boot strap operation of 4 members: herself and 3 developers in Romania. Seed funding negotiations are underway with big VCs and she intends to roll out serious upgrades. Slick Flick established a major mile stone by establishing a connection with Getty Images and the open library services API. Getty Images is the name and point for digital media worldwide. Constantinescu belives the "world of content will transform" now. Slick Flick is free at the App Store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/slickflick/id447328714?ls=1&mt=8
